Hey all i have a friend who wants to get the wheels on the DJR car for his BA! But he went into herrods they quoted him around 6-7k for the 19's and 2-3k for either the 17's or 18's in the same style.

Does anyone know where else i can get these rims cheap?

Yup, Id say that price is in response to Herrod/DJR wanting to keep thm an exclusive item for those that shell out the moola for a DJR car.
I'm also a bit surprised they're even quoting you at all - i remember someone on here went after them (was it shane3? i think it might be?), got told Herrod is not interested in selling them, and found literally the last set before they became a BBS exclusivley supplied item to Herrod (i.e. - the makers of the mags make them specifically for Herrod and do not sell them to other wheel places).

I could be wrong on all of the above, but i think unless you're pretty quick with a jack and a tyre iron, and you can find a DJR ar that doesnt have lock nuts, you'll be set.

Otherwise, no dice.

Somehow i doubt they would sell enough DJR cars with em on to make it worth while having them as an exclusive wheel. But i doubt you'll find em eny cheaper for the genuine BBS version, i know someone who qouted a set for his ss an it was about the same price.
