From the 15th of December, if you exeed the speed limit by 15kph or more, you can lose your license for at least 1 month.
If you are found driving under the influence, you will lose your license on the spot.

You don't belive me, call them on 13 11 71, choose an option and wait on their queue.

The last I heard, they had lowered the limit for automatic disqualification from 30pkh to 25pkh. I month suspension on the spot

sounds like a load of crap to me just checked their web site and now news. a downloadable pdf is there which details all the laws which were last changed in dec 2002

they have to change the law to do it they can't just chnage the limits. 15 kmh would be an outrage how easy is it to speed say on a steep hill or when overtaking.

I believe they said that, but there's a big difference between CAN lose your licence and WILL lose your licence.

Looks like I can't add up. It's 125 in a 100 zone (25km/h over).
