Do any of you think there is other life in our universe, somewhere, in some form, besides us? Or are we all alone - the only living things anywhere? This could be life in any form, animal, plant or other, living in some environment whether it be another planet, or in space, existing in any form.

I think there has to be some other life out there somewhere, who knows how developed, given that space is infinite...and given how much we dont know about what is out there....

Anyone else?

I'm with you on that there has to be somthing out there just what it is we'll never know. I also don't think the BIG BANG therory is right either.

i watched a show the other night on this and to see how we evolved and how small our galaxy actually is compared to the entire universe i would have to say yes there is actual intelegent life out there somewhere. problem is that it would be that far away we would never have a chance of meeting up with it in any human life time.
do you know what a light year is? travel for 1 year at the speed of light, and then mulitpy that by at least a million and the MAYBE you could have got through 3/4 of the universe. still think its possible that WE will meet an intelligent life form on our own accord?

Imagine the size of the universe, it would be small minded to think we are the only life forms.

I know for sure. Seen them and been for a space trip. Before anyone pulls the piss out of me I'm 100% of sound mind. You'll just have to take my word for that.

There is much more going on in life than most people could possibly imagine.

Space is infinite. And if you can comprehend that, or get close to it, then you can also reason that there must be other sentient life forms out there. It's just plain mathematics.

I doubt we'll ever have contact, the universe it just too big, but there is other life out there, of that I have no doubt. All it takes is water and we can not be the only planet with water.

I chose maybe, because it is highly likely that there is other life out there. I couldn't say "Yes, definitely" because that would be saying that I KNOW for a fact. I think that anyone making that claim better be able to back it up.
