I had a thought today about how many people will slow down below the speed limit when passing a known fixed speed camera. I see a huge caterpillar effect every morning on the way to the city along pronces hwy where the fixed camera is at orrong rd.
With the tolerances the way they are in VIC in my eyes has only caused the traffic to flow much more unevenly and even dangerously, when people realise at the ast minute that they are going past a camera and jam the brakes on.
Anyway, I thought I might pose the question and see how many people here trust what their speedo says when passing a speed camera.

I know my Speedo is out, but i have a fair idea how fast im going compared to teh Speedo, and i have hooked up a Push bike speedo as a back up.
It works well.

i trust mine in the ZL. tested yesterday in melbourne going along a freeway. there was one of those speed check things on the overpass that tells you how fast you are going. it said i was doing the same speed as what my speedo said so i know its right.
