Just wondering how people drive.
I get between 10 to 15 thousand ks out of a set of tyres, with no burnouts!! Just Great ocean rd driving, getting sideways etc.

Yeah. It was about as fast as you could go without hitting the white posts. I am doing about 70 to 80 around there actually in 2nd. Perfect corner dont you think. I thought it was great when I saw the video.
Yeah looks pretty good Must admit, I don't get mine sideways much.. I do drive it hard, (tyre and brake wear are proof :D ) but now in my old age I kinda go searching for the perfect line at the highest speed through a corner rather than playing "Hanging Out To Dry" :D However, that's not to say the back end doesn't know how swing! (and often when I don't want it to!)

Sick, bidda rally australia there.. In ym XD wagon the back end has a mind of its own - I find a bump mid-corner, add a bit of throttle, and WHEEEE!!.. hehe wet roads is great fun too, as well as dirt roads..
Yeah, now i'm REALLY looking forward to a later model six with a manual transmission on it.. looks like you got a bit of speed happening there!

Got in trouble (again) the other day for leaving the depot at the wrong angle.. Fleet manager was coming the other way and busted me.. D'oh!!

And we've had your astra up on 3 wheels goin round that roundabout too... then there was the fishies down the main street and numeruous examples of sideways motion off just about every roundabout we've come across in bathurst :D
I think it's pretty safe to say we frequently get sideways :wink2:
