Does the VE Commodore look like the Falcon? - Ford Forums - Mustang Forum, Ford Trucks, Ford Focus and Ford Cars

I was checking out Holdens new VE Commodore, I think they have taken quite alot of the styling from the BA/BF falcon?

1/ The Roof line is like the Falcons?
2/ Fords honey comb Grill and even the shape?
3/headlight style [agressive look]?
What do you think???

Yep, I thought that when they released the first pics of it - all the front looks basically the same - and they are quite ugly from the back too...

VE looks as much like a BF, as a VL looks like a XF!

It does have a similar look at the front end to the BA but I think it looks alot more like some of the Astra's I have seen around in the front end section.

It looks quite good to me and I hope it doesn't dent Ford's sales too much but I fear it will hurt the Falcon sales unless pricing is a big factor.

It's going to be interesting.

$26000 was to buy a ba/bf
rest was into trying to get the thing to run

Id have to agree it does look quite fordish dont it, also from the front the wheel arches and bottom spoiler to me looks a tad like a R34 skyline, that could just be me tho lol oh well fords still kick arse! :) thats my 5 cents worth

the vl looks like an xf? they look nothing alike lol.....

the ve does look like a falcon, the headlight and bumper under it look soo similar... but the car is a piece of shit
