Well last week i was at work, and my bosses mate pops in n he was tossing up wether to buy a AUIII XR8 ute or a f250 (btw i told him to get the 250 LoL).
Anyways a few days later the guy comes back and i asked him "hey did u get the 250 or what mate" n he goes to me "nah i am waiting till febuary, for the new ute",i go to him "what u mean the BA?".So i go "What you gonna get" and he goes to me "I'm most likely getting the XR6 turbo"(mind you by this time i was freaking out HaHa)
I asked him about the power outputs n he told me that the xr6 turbo ute he is getting is and i quote him "a twin turbo 350kw xr6 turbo" he told me the dealer showed him all the specs and the papers and everything.
Now i was losing my mind after hearing this HaHa,i hope to god this is all true what he told me :)
cheers guys!
If he's going to wait that long, the F-250 will be updated too. A 240kw / 760 Nm 6 litre V8 turbo diesel....... Plus, its more fun to drive, you can do more with it. Utes are rated to pull 1.6 tonne. F-250 can pull 3 tonne (more with a 5th wheel) They are tougher, more manly, utes are for girls!!!! Need I go on?
BadGuy it sounds like your bosses mate is pulling your arm or the dealer is pulling his arm.
As for the 350Kw XR6 figure, well the XR8 is rumoured to have around 230 - 250Kw so you don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure out that the 350Kw figure is BS.
Well the standard XR6 turbo is only supposed to have a single turbo with around 210 - 230Kw so if this 350Kw turbo is real it would have to be bloody special.
Having said that I'm still very sceptical about that figure and the twin turbo's.
