I am probably most concerned about what that crash did you the car with respect to ossupant safety. the bonnet appears to have popped up. What happens if it was a faster accident? Would the bonnet be forced back and take out the driver and/or passenger?

This may be a contributing reason why the new Viper does not have a clamshell bonnet any more.

hmmm well thats a small ding in the bonnet. However having a pole go through the bonnet may not help. I think a new bonnet is in order :)

The pic is from a Czech site so the cop car is most likely a Skoda of some sort.
A Viper in that part of Europe would certainly be a sight. 99% of the cars there are FWD and <=2L

Good point. Those vipers have a flip forward opening bonnet too.

I always wanted to know why exactly Lownes Vt rear left passenger door opened when he had that massive crash off the starting grid when he was with HRT
