Double-din idea

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....category=50145

Pity by the time most ppl read this the auction will be over.. but reckon this'd fit in the place of an LTD headunit with a bit of modifying?

Damn cheap for a good unit.. going for $71 with only 3 minutes left!

Re: Double-din idea

Nah bugger that, it may look good, but A: It won't suit your interior and B: it's still a stock head unit, only from another car. Get a decent aftermarket head unit, you won't regret it I assure you...

Re: Double-din idea

Yer I wasn't gunna get it, since just on friday I picked up my new Sony MP3 headunit.. I just thought it was an interesting buy for someone out there, and at an awesome price.

There's also 7inch LCD screens going for $130 outright (no bidding required, yours for $130)..

there's some good stuff on ebay :D

Re: Double-din idea

You would want to check the unit that you were thinking of beforehand. With the increased security these days, there could be serious probs getting it to work in another car...
