these are some of my favorites, great inspirations...anybody else like these guys???

Also the above guys were touring together (G3 2001) , anybody see, heard the stuff??

You have very good taste in music, my man.

I also like Santana, especially some of his older less publicized work. But my all time favorite is Eric Clapton.

Yeah, Satriani' latest effort was quite strange to say the least. It will be interesting to see what direction he takes in his next effort.

No, I haven't really looked into it. I'm just assuming he will release something soon I guess, I hope so.

Steve Vai has released some interesting tracks but I think the NET will be the best place to find them. "live in an ULTRA world" I think its called. What he did was while he was on the Ultra Zone tour, he improvised songs with musical influences of the country he was in at the time.
