Drift F6, Scrapped! - Ford Forums

I heard from a drift friend that the Drift F6 was scrapped because the Ford head bosses didnt know about the project. So the team that was running the car were forced to scrap the whole thing. Does anyone know about this or could confirm this??? It was such a good thing on the ford front to have it in the Australian drift championship running up agains the capa holden ute and monaro.

I hope it is not right because that would suck big time.

Such a good idea and I'm sure as it got better could only be a good advertisment with the drift crowd for Ford.

drifting really doesnt do it for me hey.
Still would suck if they scrapped it however cause i'd love to see them do good againts those jap cars and the holdens.

Try lifting on the handbrake at 120km/h, counter steer, then stamp ur foot back on the accelerator and then tell me what you think... the feeling is amazing and it gives you a wicked buzz.

Here in usa we got a mustang in the drift races, cuz thats the only rwd affordable sports car we got. But if i were in Au and ford did that, ide go rambo at ford HQ
