Driver Training Course
I am thinking of doing this course... has anyone else done anything like this before? I know the FPV owners would have done something similar...

TIME:Compulsory vehicle inspection 08:30 to 09:00
Course starts at 9.00 am and finishes at 4.30pm.
YOUR VEHICLE will be subjected to a highly stressful day.
You need to check the following items before attending:
TYRES: Must be set for on-track conditions: at least 8 to 10 p.s.i. higher than the Manufacturer’s recommendations. Metal valve caps should be fitted.
Leave wheel trims which may fall off at home.
OIL AND FLUID LEVELS: Check your oil, brake fluid, and radiator levels.
BRAKES: You will need to check (or have checked for you) that your brake pads have sufficient material for a day on-track. It is preferable to consult your brake dealer about having new high performance pads fitted for the day. Changing brake fluid to a high performance variety is also a good idea.
LOOSE OBJECTS: Clear your car of all potentially dangerous loose objects.
CLOTHING: You will need to bring a helmet, and wear long-sleeved non-synthetic top and trousers, and thin-soled shoes. Driving gloves are preferred.
Note that at Calder only, you are required to wear a flameproof racing suit. These may be hired on the day for $50. At Calder, you may hire a helmet for $20 for the day.
NOISE : Please note noise level at Sandown must not exceed 75 dB(A) when measured 30 metre from track pavement.
LUNCH: Morning Tea and Lunch are provided.
SPECTATORS: No spectators are permitted.
No pets, no children, no onlookers are allowed for safety reasons.
POSTPONEMENT OR NON ATTENDANCE: If you are unable to attend, you are required to give a minimum of seven (7 ) days notice, or you will be charged the full fee. If you provide seven (7) days notice of your inability to attend you can transfer to another day; or alternatively you can nominate another person to attend the day on which you booked.
INDEMNITY: All participants are required to sign an indemnity form.
