drought broken on no speeding fines
well after 18 months of hard work avoiding speeding fines by relying on my radar detector, i got caught. i deserve it really, coz after all the road was posted 80kays, and i shouldnt have been cruising at 120.
but hey, it was a beautiful lazy bend, and there were no cars around. does anyone in perth know that stretch of roe highway between toodjay road and great northern? well i was coming from toodjay road around a lovely left hander before BeepBeep!! the radar detector detected a four-foot high tax collector right in front of me!! so i slam on me brakes and duck under the hundred when i think it flashed. happened in the middle of the day so i couldnt tell. i guess only time, and a green letter, will tell exactly how fast i was caught doing.
i would've been doing only a 100 if i knew it was 80, but since the rest of roe highway returns to 100kays after every set of lights, i thought this stretch was the same. and i was just thinkin how much my new 17 inch rims helped my high speed cornering stability.
bastards. bluddy bastards.
