dual monitor setup info needed

Anyone know of a program that makes dual monitor setup easy? I'm running a dual boot (XP-Vista) system so I will need something compatible with both. I will be running both monitors off my video card, HDMI & DVI.

Sounds like fun. I expect it will be something the video card manufacturer would have worked out.

I hope so. It's going to be new to me but we'll see how it goes.

No its ATI. I read up on it says it will support 2 monitors. Was wondering about software like UltraMon.

Got her going. Ended up using ultramon which added switch monitor buttons at the top of apps, a taskbar in my second monitor & separate wallpaper modes on each monitor. Pretty neat. I can now watch videos on one & the forums on the other lmao.

Nice work. If you were to watch say a movie, would you see two pictures the same on each monitor or would you see part of the movie on one and the other part on the other. Sort of surround movie like surround sound lol.

Re: dual monitor setup info needed

I have it set up where I can watch the movie on one monitor and surf the web on the other. Now there is a setting where I could see the same thing on both or stretch my desktop across both monitors. My main monitor is located on the left, I just move my mouse off to the right of it and my pointer appears on the other monitor. It's all new to me but, I'm learning.
