Yep - and the original Eleanor did her own jump and survives to this day - still running and drivable...

Mach 2? The Torino supposedly had a 460, but it's a heavy car.

The original Duke mobil only had a 383. As did most of the jump cars, there were something like 20-25 cars available as I recall for the filming.

Now the pretty movie car had a Hemi or 440, I forget. It would easily out run, outperform the Torino. And they are/were fat in their own way. The Torino had all kinds of crash and smog equipment that the older Charger did not have from the factory. So, yeah. The Torino is HEAVIER!
