They're filming the movie version of "The Dukes of Hazzard" here in New Orleans and someone from another site visited the set of a chase scene yesterday. He managed to get a shot of "The General Lee" before they shot two scenes of it doing spinouts in the street. Sorry, they didn't allow any photography while they were actually filming.

Jessica Simpson, Willie Nelson, Burt Reynolds and others are in town for the production. None of them were on this set, just stunt drivers and crew members.


and I saw this pic and a little upset they didn't stick with the old Dodge Monacos/Furys in "hot purrrsuit"!?! weird...............
