eek Dust Storm in Sydney

WEll looking outside my window now and it looks pretty ordinary outside, it's very hazy and you cannot see the horizon.

Just heard that there is a dust strom comming from the central west of NSW Dubbo way thats comming east and will probably get worse as they predict a storm will be comming. Winds will pickup by midafternoon.

Anyone notice the sky is very dusty around NSW and Sydney.

Yeah Gaz, the sky looked like it was full of smoke (like Christmas Day last year) for a couple of hours after the wind blew in but is now clearing up nicely in the Eastern Suburbs

Isn't it ironic?

The day before yesterday we cop a dust storm.

Yesterday was probably the clearest day I've ever known in Sydney.

Today Sydney is getting thoroughly by bushfire smoke.

I live in Penrith (base on the Blue Mountains that are currently on fire, but I work in the city. I *was* smokey, but the breeze has blown it away, and now it's clear and warming up fast.

I've been at sea off the coast all week. You should have seen it from there.

Jervis Bay down south was even worse.

The worse I've ever seen was still the oil smoke haze off Kuwait during the Gulf War. We went through an oil slick that lasted four days. Don't think (and hope) that I'll ever see anything like that again.
