As per my other thread, my former position of moderator, alongside Sundeep, is now available. Because several people have expressed interest, I'd like to suggest that we vote in this new position rather than having me trying to make the call alone.
If you are interested, please reply here expressing your interest. A seperate thread with voting instructions will take place.
Please also note that the winner of the vote will not necessarily become moderator unless LunaticSVT and the existing moderation team agrees with the decision, which is only fair.
The job as moderator involves knowing and understanding the FordForums TOC as well as the specific guidelines of a moderator. In the E-Series area, my main task has been to move blatant 'technical' questions (there is a very fine line between technical questions and general discussion - good judgement is required) to the appropriate area. And obviously, inappropriate threads for this section - such as a question about a BA Falcon - should be moved to the appropriate threads elsewhere on the forum. Pretty self explanatory stuff for the most part, and all required information will be given.

I've put my hand up for 'temp' mod stauus a couple of times when it seemed like Sundeep and yourself both had other commitments which needed greater attention. I'd like to become a permanent part of the team.
I'd like to become more than just a member, and actually try and help out in the management side of this club. Seeing as though i've just finished my schooling, i'll have a lot more time on my hands for other things, such as administrative duties for the club.
i put my hand up too
i've only been a part of the e-series owners club and fordforums for a short time (since may) but i am always on the site and am always trying to help out! i think this position would be good for me because i'm always here (my browsers home page is the general discussion page) so i always will be able to moderate.

Just a suggestion:
why not let all those nominated / self-nominated members be a temporary member of the moderator team for a short trial period ? so that they, the current moderator team members as well as other users can have a better idea on what will those nominated members do when they are the moderators, and we can then vote for a suitable person based on their performance.

i agree with docomo we should have a short trial period of say a week or so and see if they/I can can handle the job as moderator and do a good job at it too
because there is no point voting for some one who cannot handle the position

I don't know if I'd be qualified for the job, however I've been meaning to ask if it's possible to just enough 'status' to be able to make stickied threads for announcments and such in regards to eafalcon.com. Is this possible?
Sorry for the sidetrack, just thought it might be appropriate :)
