Looks like we're ready to deal. An enthusiastic member with an EB II Fairmont Ghia sent an e-mail to me in April in gratitude to the site (particularly the Members Cars gallery) giving him inspiration and ideas for his car. He's offered a good price on merchandise which his business deals with. Of particular interest were number plate frames. We still have to confirm that they will fit the rear of an EA or NA-NC (the last ones we ordered didn't) - but the approximate prices are in.
The price for a set (2) to members would vary from $18.50 if only one person orders through to around half that price if 10 people or more order. There is a range of frame colours and text colours available too. To put this into perspective, the last set we ordered cost members $30 per set. I'm expecting this to be very popular.
I plan to order in as many frames as people want, but I am going to sell them at cost price rather than trying to raise funds for the Club. The reason for this is because of our lack of Acting Treasurer at this time. Once that issue is sorted, we'll be in a position to offer some sort of deal to all members.
So to summarise: the final price will vary depending on interest (and perhaps postage issues etc - I'd say $10 per said is a good estimate), I'll let you guys know about the EA/NA rear frame issue and this will be a limited offer.
