Ea 3.2l

I have the opportunity to purchase a 1989 EA 3.2L wagon for $450. Has anyone in the forum driven a ford 3.2L 6cyl? I can't find the power and torque figures anywhere. Can someone help??

Power: 90 kW @ 4,000 rpm, Torque: 235 Nm @ 3,250.

Full specs are at: http://www.eafalcon.com/generalinfo/index3.htm

I've never heard of an '89 model 3.2; my understanding is the engine was discontinued in 1988.

Actually bolt on a turbo, new cam, some porting, rev limit at around 8000 rpm and it could be quite a goer... drop in some shorter gears and it could go ok...

Red face

Was a very embarrasing combination for Ford, EA 3 speed and the 3.2L engine.

If the 3.9L CFi is very pedestrian in that an Excel would leave it of the lights, then i'll leave it up to you to imagine what the 3.2L CFi would peform like.
