EA project idea

hey i'm thinking about starting a long term project using an ea, i want some big power etc, what should a go for a big 8 or maybe a twin turbo 6, and how much am i looking at for what sort of power?? thanks.

also was the XE the last with the V8's before the EB, might be able to get a nice 351 for cheap anyway thanks guys

How much do you want to spend?
We need one of these questions answered to give a vaild answer.
other wise.
my answer is this.
$100,000 show stoping twin turbo v8 with nos putting out 1300hp.

The EA chassis is only rated for 300 kw from memory.....


But wouldn't it be nice....

but with a $100,000 I think you could weld in some extra chassis strenghth.
After all I doubt my cousins 76 Capri is rated for the 550hp it has.

Another question is what do how do you intend to use the car ie, Showcar, Street car, Drag car, everyday driver etc etc.
