Well, what a fantastic day!! :D Had a great turnout from the club and the forums lads, got to meet some new blokes including Aussie Falcon! So the roll call was something like :
Me, The Doc, XLR8, Nipper, EF_Falcon_Guy, Aussie Falcon, Venom S, Anakha, and the lads from the club that don't frequent our site often enough!! (Did I miss anyone??!)
The GTP races were the highlights for me, the utes were interesting in their own right but couldn't compete with watching a red-hot Mustang or Lamborghini or XR8 vs SS. The Mustang looked and sounded downright horny, and got the most attention from my camera too! The XR8's also sounded fantastic, a real howl coming onto the main straight. The XR6 that was running had one of the strangest exhaust notes I've heard in a while...
Anyway, was great to spend some time with the lads (and ladies!), watch some great metal make fools and heros of themselves, and generally just arse around enjoying the sun and exhaust notes!!
Comments lads (who went hehe) ?? :D

Yeah, i'll vouch for what Mike said, very very good day. Teh Mustangs engine note was down right sweeet. I have no doubt that even if the AV falcon has the 4.6L engine it would dust of those commo's somethin chronic.
Also the listen of exhaust notes didn't just come from the races, but mainly came from XR8 owners with aftermarket exhausts. Geez i love those V8 sound right at your ears.
Oh yeah there was alot of crawling under members cars, bonnets opening and stereos crankin as well. :D :D :D
Top day guys, really enjoyed it.

:D :D :D
And the alarm, did any listen to the alarm of Doc's car. :p :p
Have to say i'm amazed at the Pig, it's got like 650,000km and the engine is still sweet. Got a nice sound to boot.

Oh, and I've found a bit of paint missing from my driver's door moulding. :( Looks like someone with green or blue paintwork hit since I washed it yesterday.
