Of course, anything is possible on the street... there are alot of variables (e.g. overall car condition, tyres/traction.. list is endless)
Do the EB's and EF's have the same power? I would have though the EB would be a little lighter too, plus you have got exhaust and extractors while the EF may have been stock.

I beat an EF/L XR6 on the weekend on a rolling start, so an EB with more power than my XF would probably beat an EF XR8, and I've also heard that the XR6 is quicker than the XR8's so I'd say you'll beat the guy.
But hey what do I know, I drive a 6 popper XF :)

I dragged an EF ghia 6 and we were even for a while till he started to just pull away but ever so slowly. It possible but everything needs to work in unisen and be in top order.
