Just wondering if anyone has a back issue of wheels, or motor, which contains the test drive of the ED XR6, if it was an auto that would be even better. If you do could you please scan it and make it available for viewing? Or is that against copyright laws?
Also could someone give me the acceleration times for a stock ED XR6 auto?
Guys , I have had a quick dig and found Wheels Jan 1994 which lists in the back Falcon XR6 0-100 =7.8 secs , 400m =15.6 , L/100km =14.1, 161kw . This was the 5 speed man however.. Interestingly it also lists the XR8 (165kw) 0-400m =15.6 secs and XR8 Sprint (195kw) 0-400m = 16.0secs!!! WTF! Prices were (XR6/XR8/Sprint) $33,321/$35,257/$44692 .
I look around for the actual test issues - should have them
Yes I have all the articles, but I don't really know how to use my scanner yet. :/
lowriding, it gets more weird than that when you bring the EB GT and manual MPI EA Falcon S figures into the picture - the bottom line is the comparing figures in this manner is a waste of time. I'm fairly sure I have no articles for the AUTO XR6, as they tested manuals.

Ive got the article where they test the Auto ED XR6/XR8 vs VR S/SS, includes lap times, cornering speeds of some race track. XR6 comes out trumps in just about everything.
If you want this I can scan it.
