Mate had just bought a VYII V6 ute in manual and has been going on about how its quicker than my XR6, so of course we were going to have to have a run. Ive heard that the commo utes in manual can be pretty quick, so I was worried that the ED may not come away victorious (Considering my car isnt running 100% at the moment)
Anyway we are both next to each other at a set of lights turning right onto a highway (100kmh) Not the most idea scenerio but itll do. Im in the outside lane, him the inside.
Lights go green and we both boot it, I shortshift first as not to get sideways on the curve , he is about half a car ahead at this point, get into second and I plant it feeling the backend starting to slide, but we hit the straight and then I start pulling good, by the time I im in third im a good two to three lengths ahead, look down at the speedo and decide to shutdown at this point!
Now I wish I could just get this ED to run right
