I wouldn't pay much over $10K for a stocker & you can get them several thousand less so you'd want it to be good

A couple of grand less would make it a good buy, in my opinion.

I'd actually prefer the 6 over the 8 in ED XR form...unless of course you were planning a few mods.

There's an EB series 1 XR8 at Gregorys Ford in Canberra, they are asking *cough* $13990. Looks reasonably tidy except for the clear laquer peeling off the alloy wheels. At least $4k ovepriced IMO, especially when you consider it's nearly 11 years old.

Yeah - seems a bit pricey for a stock EDXR8. I think there might be someone on the forum who works at that ford dealer.... ask him if he knows anything about it.

Oh... and I like this bit "Tickford enhanced V8 automatic"

Hmm... I dont recall Tickford touching the engine or the gearbox at all in the EDXR8. Maybe tell them its false advertising, and see if you can get it a lot cheaper.

there was a few subtle touches they did kell... Also the tranny had different shift point compared to a std falcon....
