I just heard something interesting. It seems people these days are putting later model EF/EL interiors into earlier EA/EB/ED Falcons. Why would you do this, wouldnt it be smarter to buy and EF/EL, its a better and newer car and the interior would be factory rather than a home bodge job.
Well, since you don't even have a car Steffo, I don't really think you are in a position to ask this question.
If you paid a bit more attention, you would have noticed that most of the EA-ED's that have copped the EF/EL interior job have significant other mods too, like superchargers, turbo's, custom stereo installs and resprays.
And no, the ones I have seen were not a bodge job, as they take the time to make sure everything fits, and all the nuts & bolts are tight, so there is less rattles than most EF's have nowdays.
Like Dellboy said, go find an EF or EL with a turbo, supercharger or tough NA motor, full respray and custom stereo for $500 to $1000.

It just seems ricey to me is all. What is the point of putting a different interior out of another car into yours? Does it improve performance in any way? Seems a 'Hot4s' like thing to do if you ask me.

Yes it improves performace, it improves the performance of the user interaction with their environment as the ergonomics are usually better going from old car to modern car.
