Was at Sinclair Ford for ordering my rocker shims (which should come in after 1pm). I decided to have a sticky beak at the used car lot, stumbled on a fairly nice EF XR8 in Navy Blue done only 80k, but only problem is it's an auto which i reckon would actually be slower than my car.
Just as a price guide is $21,990 a decent price or is he dreaming. Personally i think it's abit high but given the good km's for the year it might be an ok deal.
EF_GuY is sniffin around for some V8's...
Also if EF XR8's are going for nearly 22k then an EL2 would still be around 25k. :oo1: :oo1:

Sounds like a good deal if you compare to ED XR8 Sprint someone mentioned the other day for $23,000. EDs are nice, Sprint might go a tad quicker than EF but my brain can't cope with paying more money for an older car.

You know, somebody actually complimented me on my driving today. They left a little note on the windscreen. It said, 'Parking Fine.'So that was nice.

Too high I think, i'd shave that figure down into the teens, EL XR8's low $20's, 185kw EL XR's maybe mid 20's.
Problem is early AU XR's are well and truly in the mid to high 20's now.
xrs seem to keep there price dont they, I was looking for a EB XR6 and I cant find one under $10k. I mean, how much difference is there between a XR6 and a S-Pak?
Alloys and a little engine tweek and thats about it, yet they are atleast $4-7 more expensive.
Looks like I'm going to have to settle with the S-Pak.

What mods has the wagon got???
I've been in a mate's EF XR8 auto and that thing flew, so I take it that your wagon has more than a new air filter and exhaust to out run such a beast.
Gary,
Seems a little high, but you could probably get a bit off it with some sweet talking............
I got mine ... EL 2 XR8 for $22,000 private sale with 55,000km's, but the guy actually had $26,000 on it and didn't really wanna come down, but he did......
And its insured for $28,000........ thats what the market value was according to NRMA........
