Hi All,

Yeah driving home from a party on Saturday night i got caught speeding (first time). I didn't realise that a Red VX SS infront of me was an unmarked cop car. Anyways i droped it into 3rd darted pass an XF falcon and passed the Red SS, and sure enough lights went on and i was caught doin 15km/h over.

Must say i did sorta deserve the fine, and lucky me the cop was a good bloke. So despite $188.00 poorer and 3 points down i'm damn lucky.

Best unmarked poice car I've seen was a couple of years ago at Phillip Island with a new U-bute ute (can't remember if it was Ford or GM) with big rollbar in back and couple of large planks of wood tied to it. Looked like a tradie's pride and joy. I beat it around traffic in two lane to get in front for single lane, then he went around me in next two lane, and about a k later lights started flashing in its rear window and he pulled someone up for, as far as I could see, getting in front of him the same way I did earlier, except I think they baulked him or maybe went over limit, which I didn't.

I hope I didnt get booked on the weekend, as I said in the other thread.. anyway we will wait and see!

I've been done for only one thing since I got the licence,
I was on holidays and cruising along that new huge hi-way up in Bananaland("Q")in a friends SP Astina, there was some "experimental 110km zone"... then I thought I would pull up at this servo and grab some drinks soon, I got back on the road(servo was heaps far back from the new road)and resumed 110kmh with the cruise control, I got up to speed...and FLASH
The silly moral of the story...100km sign was inbetween the 2 sevro access roads!
Got done for 114km in a 100km zone:bgrrrr:

Surely you were doing 14km/h over and not 15! How'd he determine your EXACT speed when you were in effect PASSING him? I know you say he was a nice guy, but 14km/h is heaps cheaper and only ONE point!
