Well guys,
I have just returned from a great weekend at Bathurst to see the 24hr. I was thrilled to see an EL in the F class in this event. The F class was an invitational class & the owner was over the moon to be one of the 10 invited to participate.
I was lucky enough to be able to visit the team in the pits over the weekend and was ecstatic to be able to talk with the boys, although briefly, while they were preparing for the race & also later in the evening on the Saturday Night while they were in the middle of the race ..... Top blokes these are......
I will over the next few weeks prepare a post on these guys (who they are & where their from & what their plans are). The owner of the team, who also was a driver, was really happy to find out that we have a forum for E Series nuts & asked for the addy so he can check us out
He has 3 other E Series cars as daily drivers as well ....... I spose he could be considered to be a real E Series guy
I will be emailing his as soon as I can but we may have to wait for a reply as they have Winton races in 2 weeks, so are really busy after the 24hr & preparations for the next one. I know we will get some awesome pics from the 24hr race (I have seen a few of them already)
So hang tight guys .....
We are about to have a real race driver in our midst who is willing to help us out about a lot of our problems.
