EL GT - EEC V or IV?

Did the EL GT run EECV or IV engine management? Ive always been under the impression it ran V, but FPV says it ran IV!?

I was under the impression that from the EF onwards they used EEC V.

Was EEC V. It changed at the start of the EF.

All of the 5l efi Windsors ran EEC V, right back as early as the EB. The I6's ran EEC IV in the eb/ed, then changed over to eec V from EF-AU.

Wrong, all 5lt EB's had EEC IV. Can't comment on ED thou.

yep, i thought so too, so the following (which is directly from FPV site) must be a typo:

Engine

EL Falcon GT: Windsor 5-litre V8, OHV, electronic multi-point fuel injection, 9.00:1 compression, GT-40 big-valve crossflow heads, roller rockers, special camshaft, upgraded throttle body and EEC IV engine management system, performance intake runners, electronic ignition, low restriction extractor exhaust system, 200kW @4700rpm, 420Nm @ 3700rpm (net)

As the guys said before, all cars EF-AU used EEC-V and the mongrel XH ute used EEC-IV
