i just bought the october edition of unique cars magazine and found the amount of el gt's for sale in there was quite high compared with a couple of editions earlier this year. i wonder if all this talk about the new gt has spooked some owners into selling before their el lost too much value. strange too, how some people value their cars so radically different. $39k to $65k average being $55.5k. i also noticed a few s1, s2 t series as well which didn't attract such a high price as the el's. i believe au shape is going to lose value big time when ba really starts going, with the t3 being the exception.

I fail to see how a really good model car with drop the value of all the older cars. When Ford release the Barra it will bring more attention to the brand in general Ford have never really made a "bad" car in comparison to the Commie so as I see it all the people that would have steered away from Ford before may find them self in a second handy due to money restraints.
Other wise the fact that nearly every wanker commie owner upgrades with every model would have drivin down the price of the commie.
Second hand prices are always dependant on demand.
You watch as the Sales of the Barra sky rocket more people will look at the brand and as more Ef/EL get sold the dealers will jump on this and start asking a higher price.
So don't eveer go to tradin expecting to get ripped off or else you will!

Just like every1 wants a VT 5.0 HSV, not a 5.7..
I would think people will definately go 4 the models with the new engines! If i had a EL GT or even a AU XR8 I would be trying to sell now, before price plummets.
