well guys, due to my financial situation at this point in time, i must sell the el, and buy a shitter thats cheap to run and insure,

i cant even afford to buy a new brake light bulb with the way things are going, and im sick and tired of struggling, not being able to go out with my friends, or even go on a ling drive...its so crap

so ocne my el is sold ill be looking for anything thats cheap, ive found a vn for cheap with minor front damage that would be nice, but im worried about petrol costs in those cars,

anyone got any sugestions? id even concider a cheap 5spd ea on gas...but i dont see me finding one in ok condition for a reasonable price

if anyone is interested in my el, im after $8000 for it!

ill still be around on the forums, and one day ill be back in a decent falcon, just gotta get out of this slump im in!

Sorry to learn of your woes, I can certainly relate to them. My KF Laser has given a year of good service and only cost me $2k initially, but it seems even today they cost heaps more than I paid, so I don't know what else to recommend...

jack, thanks for that!, my sis inlaw has one of the same lasers and has a heap of probs as well, im sure they were good cars once, but past their used by date now!

possibly cheaper fuel wise.. but ea's are getting old now. might spend a bit on maintenance.

Maintenance only costs serious money if you pay other people to do your work.

this is true.. but it would still be nicer to pay a bit more for petrol to have a nicer newer car with less problems. but i guess he is after the money from selling the el.
