just bought an Ericsson T610..

wow what a nifty bit of gear it is

only problem is the standard pics/polyphonic ringtones SUCK

the pics part is easily taken care off (inbuilt camera - ill just take some pix of fords and all fixed) but im after a decent place to get ringtones....

with my nokia they used to be 25c (an sms), but the only place ive found is a flat rate of $6.60 for the call (which htey politly tell you is higher for mobiles!!) and then you insert the code for the tone

anywayz just wondering how many others have the T610 and where you get tones from

I've got one and its bloody brilliant.

I've got a cd with over 2500 ringtones let me know what songs you like and i'll email some.

Have you installed the software yet?
You should be able to get any pic you want off your computer or the net and use the image editor to resize it to fit on your phone then just use infrared or data cable to transefer to the phone.

If you havnt got infrared on you comp you'll need a data cable and you're much better off buying one of these than buying ringtones.

yeah ive installed the software, but dont have a cable / IR on my puter yet i should be geting a usb IR port in 2 weeks, so then it'll be sweet

Like Fordy said, i have that many themes tones and pics i ran out of room on the phone, the sites above are ok though, got some good stuff.

Whatever you do, dont download the racing car game or the pacman imitation, they are too addictive lol

I got a new Nokia 7250i last week and I wanna hook it up to the comp but I dont have IR or a data cable. Ive seen data cables for $60, and IR ports for $80. Anyone know where you can get em cheaper? Do they have em at Paddy's???

Guys i've managed to make some of my own themes with this theme creator i downloaded i just made one up from those silver gt pics that were shown in another thread plus i have other custom ones, let me know if you want them and i'll be happy to email them.

Thanks Fordy. I actually went out to the markets the other day and bought a USB data cable. I havent got my phone with me at the moment, but i got PC Suite running, but I'm still not sure how it's gonna work because the program says its gotta connect via a COM port. Anyone used PC Suite?
