eek Expanding my playlist - Metal suggestions?

Hey guys,
I have pretty much always been into mainstream traditional metal, and by that i mean bands like metallica, SOAD, slayer, rammstein, soulfly, pantera and also others like deep purple, black sabbath, misfits etc

Just want to expand my horizons a bit, see what else is out there, but its not always easy to find new stuff that i like....

Any suggestions for slightly heavier metal?
What bands/albums/songs?

Cheers :)

AC/DC, especially newer (Brian Johnson) stuff. Albums like The Razors Edge, Blow Up Your Video, Live 2CD set, and Ballbreaker.

EDIT - After actually reading your post properly, maybe Sepultura, or Korn??

Old school stuff ,

Kreator (listen to the changes from Pleasure to Kill up to Coma of souls), Bathory (esp twilight of the gods) and Forbidden (infinite) who were the best ever thrash band out the US. Dig up some old Auzzie band Mortal Sin albums! And dont forget Sodom (such a lovely name for a band)

Newer softer stuff then Queens of the stone age are good , Nickelback f'king rocked live at M1 last year.
