Had to replace my exhaust the other day courtesy of a sharp speed bump.
Couldn't find one at a wrecker to had to fork out $220 to get a muffler joint to do it. After the bloke spending 20 minutes trying to sell me a sports exhaust, which wasn't available for the Fairlane, he finally got down and did the job. Unfortunately the car's been missing ever since (as in engine wise, not dissappeared) and I haven't had the chance to look at it.
I trust mechanics/automotive industry people (apologies to any trustworthy ones that are reading this) about as much as I trust doctors.
Who invented speed bumps anyway?

You should try some good quality self adhesive velcro. That should keep the sub in the one place! Either that or contract a bulldozer and flatten the speed bump...
