They seem to like it, and YES it is very early on in the comparison stakes and YES there was no head to head comparison, BUT.......

You gotta love a quote like this....

Brings that F6 order one step closer for me!!

Does ayone know if I can get a V8 soundtrack on CD to play while I drive the turbo??

yeh they concluded what i predicted. cheaper than a gt with similar power and better handling. itll sell like hotcakes.

What concerns me most is the comment about the FPV sales. Are they really that bad?

Not sure of the actual volumes...

But I suspect that FPV's investmenst $$$ are achieving a far better return than the money HSV spent developing the Avalanche, XUV and Coupe 4...

HSV are masters at promoting their wins and ignoring their losses. Clubsport and R8 are definite wins, but so much of their range would be loss making the three cars above in particular!! Fortunately with their margins, they'll always make a profit!!

FPV must spend huge amounts of money building the BOSS Motors, while HSV just plonk in a stock Corvette C6 motor and only bolt on a different exhaust and use their own computer and tune. Must be heaps cheaper, and unfortunately they are getting better results out of it. Beleive me I am a V8 man, but my next car will definately be a Turbo 6! They are just so much better value than the V8 in my opinion.
