Fairlane Station Wagon

Saw a dark green fairlane station wagon the other day in the Melbourne CBD!! Couldnt believe my eyes!

Anyone seen or heard of something like this??!?

Maybe they are going to release a luxury Estate wagon - the rear of it looked like a normal AU station wagon while the front was all fairlane.

I dont think that Ford make Hearse Fairlanes, they would be built by an aftermarket company, probably by the same people who make the Limo versions too.

confused

Not too sure but I think the Hilliers Bros have their fingers in the Hearse pie? It was more than likely a Fairmont wagon with the front sheetmetal of a Fairlane. Must've looked pretty cool though..

We had to signwrite one of those cars for the ACT Dept of Health. They are an awesome piece of machinery. The way they are set up is unreal. The one I drove (just across the carpark) was set up for both normal and disable drivers. You could do everything with your hands. Brake, accelerate, steer (obviously). You would've needed some specialist driver training to do it all at once though. I tried and near rooted the car!!..:D
