Falcon Coupe - is there one on the horizon for ford....?

Is there a Falcon coupe on the cards for ford...?

My house mate is a total Ford nut. He's previously owned a pretty trick hot pink XA coupe that he sold to a collector in the USA, now he's playing with a really classy XP falcon coupe (6).

Anyway, he is is 100 % sure he saw a new BA coupe (two door) with test plates on it last weekend. Is this an official ford project or is it some third party having a bit of fun with the new Ba....?

IMO, I would have to assume ford is reviving the old coupe, Ford and Holden have not been terribly innovative in their model line up in recent years (especially FORD) and they seem to enjoy copying each other.

P.S. I did a quick search and didn't really find anything substantial. Hope you don't mind me asking again.

:)

I heard a little while ago that Hillier Conversions would have a BA Coupe out six weeks after the Falcons were released.... your mate possibly saw that?

Hillers Location

Trav, Hiller are based in Western New South Wales, near Tamworth. On my way back from Queensland, I had the pleasure of stopping at Hiller HQ and checking out the Arrow Coupe, Also, stopped at annother Hiller Location. There were a pile of BA Falcon sedans, wagons and utes (My guess is Hiller are preparing for annother chop-job)
