Has been a long wait but these two titles are FINALLY hitting the shelves.
They are both in A4 format & include a LARGE number of pics, predominantly in b&w, though the GT/GTHO has some colour photo's included in it. The falcon book has had a large number of corrections from the initial 2nd edition print made, though undoubtably some errors will still remain - thats life I guess.
Should make a pretty good xmas pressie...

Another good book that is fairly recent is "Ford Falcon 2nd Edition" by Ewan Kennedy. The book has a chapter on FPV, including GT and covers Falcons from XK-BA. The book is packed full of easy to read info and is definately worth looking at for yourself or a gift. RRP is $45. If you would like more info, drop me an email.

This is the falcon book reprint that I'm talking about...there was some quite noticable errors that have been corrected(notably the EF/NF build numbers, a few incorrect pictures, and quite a number of other minor messups)
The GT/GTHO book is also now FINALLY available.

I bought it a couple of weeks ago, it's quite good. A pretty extensive history of the GT40 and various prototypes through the years, along with the story of the development of the GT.

I actually have the first one. It runs up until the EF if i remember correctly. I reckon the 2nd edition would be sweet.

Ooh, thanks Wulos, will contact the supplier of the Falcon book and see if we can get the GT book in stock too! Yes, that is the Falcon book we have, it is quite good.
BlinkAU it does have a short section on Tickford/FPV but would have to check on the T-Series info. Do you have a specific question about them? I have some pretty detailed info at work on the T-Series. If you drop me an email to fdcinfo@deakin.edu.au I might be able to help with any questions you have..

Just to be sure, it is the 2nd version of the 2nd Edition? And no more spelling mistakes, will make for a nice read. Especially so when the reader isn't having to imagine squeezing 14 inch tyres onto 15inch rims
