I quickly saw the advert for this - a VT/X Clubbie or GTS? (they said $95,000 car so presume GTS) with over 40 mechanical faults and three new motors and an AU1 Forte with similar amount of mechanical faults (but no mention of new motors...). These owners were pretty pissed off with their cars, should be worth a look.

I have an aquaintance whom has had his AU2 XR8 Ute in at the dealers on 105 occasions.

I cannot see him purchasing a Ford again unfortunatley.

Whilst I tend to agree, you have to remember that people spend a lot of money on purchasing a car and have high expectations.

Buying a car will probably be the 2nd highest purchase of their lives after a house.

When you pay around $30 000 + on a car (average family car) you expect to have a high level of service and build quality.
