Falcon now WA's top selling car!

Hi all,

In the last few weeks in WA papers some Ford dealers have been advertising the Falcon as "now WA's top selling car". Is this true?

I beleive so mate, and I know for a fact that VY sales have not been as hot as VX because the dealer I work at has been a bit dry lately, just quietly! :s6:

Also do a count of BA's to VY's on the road. I get at least a 2:1 ratio everytime. There are a lot of XT about.

it's heading that way in adelaide if I were to judge on my personal counting skills. It seams for every VY I scoff at I've got at least another 1 maybe 2 Falcons to lust after. To my suprise nearly every one has been an XR6 and even a few turbo.

Whoever said Western Australian's weren't the smartest of all Australian's must be pretty red in the face now. We are a smart lot and this only reflects that

I'm getting about the same figure, but lately it's been getting about 3:1. When it first started it was 1:1 but the BA is growing much quicker.

haha you call it scoffing. I call it pointing my finger at the car and laughing. Seriously. Particually with SS's because if you are dumb enough to get one your are dumb enough to cop it sweet. hehehe.

That's good news - here in the ACT I seem to see the opposite - more VY's than BA's - especially of the SS variety.

I have to agree, and they are mostly that Hothouse Green colour.
