Hope this hasn't been mentioned here already but I haven't seen it yet.

Anybody seen the latest RTA anti-speeding ad? It's a silver AU Falcon ute speeding down the road when the driver suddenly comes around a bend up behind a road train. Pulling out to go past it he has a head/side-on with another car.

Anyway, my point is that looks like a pretty nice ute - I thought it was a car ad for a fancy new FPV ute or something for the first few seconds when I first saw it - had to look twice to realise it was a Falcon as I haven't seen that body kits and combination of mods before! The front end looks pretty nice and I've never seen those headlight surrounds before - makes the lights look quite different. Also note the 'sports' pedals and a different looking surround for the gear lever boot. I didn't get a good enough look but I couldn't tell if the tacho/instrument cluster was standard or not - it had a white backing on the gauges though so it couldn't have been. Nice wheels too.

Such a nice ute and then they just go and crash it!!

Anyone seen some of those body-kit bits etc. before or know anything about the ute in that ad.?

What is the body kit?

I find it kinda funny that I mostly guaged from the ad is people wanting to know what the bodykit is, not that accident factor.

If I was at Ford I wouldn't be too hapy with the Ad, you can tell its a Falcon, and the start of the ad (pre crash) is very similar to first BA ads that came out. Not real good...

should be able to answer this question pretty well for you guys

the ute is actually fibresports (bodykit manufacturers) ute, from sydney
the bodykit is just the hawk front bar with the series 1 xr bodykit
the headlights are standard issue, looks like its just been how theyve tweaked the footage that makes them look a little different

and on a side note, they didnt smash that ute (saw the ute all in tact just the other day actually), they apparantly smashed THREE other utes to do the add!!

yeah i have seen that the ute looks pretty schmik i thought it was a new car add for ford but seen the AU style lights then it hit the on coming car waste of a bloody shit hot ute
