For the upcoming falcon where the I6 is canned for a smaller engine. May I suggest Screw the 6 all together, and just have an all alloy 4 litre quad cam v8 for the base model and have an optional all alloy 5.4 litre quad cam v8.

Not to waste the development of the new i6, just join 2 of em in a V and make an 8 Litre quad cam V12 for the top of the range cars.

Of course the V12 would be twin turbo and produce 480Kw and make the car the fastest 4 door sedan in the world again.

I would be great if we had the population that would warrant the kind of $$ to produce a car & engine like that. I think if had the same numbers as the US does, we would probably produce some awesome cars, especially when you consider cars like the GT, Monaro, the "Phase" series Falcons, the Barra turbo 6 etc etc.
Could you imagine the kind of luxury cars we could produce? They'd leave the M5 for dead.

On the subject of legal...why not change the driving age to 6, and remove power limits.
