Ok as the topic mentions, just wondering what everyone wished they had or miss having in there car Interior wise and the reason why. I'll start, mine would be:
1. 4 Power windows: As well as making the car interior look alot better the 4 power window models feature the auto down button which i miss so bad after driving a fairmont. Too boot it was only a $400 option in the AUII/AUIII XR's.
2. Half height antenna button, i've hit the antenna on the garage door reversing becuase i had the radio on. :dead: :dead: Lucky aerial was ok. Very handy feature.
Apart from that i'm very happy with the creature comforts in my baby.:s5

power windows:
Sometimes I go to wind up the windows in my au xr8 and then the next day I try to find the button on my au ute. A new ba ute will come later in the year and it will have buttons one way or another.
actually, i wish it had an auto up and down on the drivers leccy window. otherwise, there is nothing inside i would change.
and speaking of interiors, have you seen the interior job of the ralliart magna???? looks like someone detonated a depth cahrge hidden inside a bucket of vampire vomit. bloody yuck!
compare to the xr interior...a truly subtle and tasteful mix of colours. the blue dash looks the ducks nuts without being over the top.

I miss ABS most of all in my EA Ghia - not that I drive my car hard, but in my personal opinion a car is incomplete without it. Fortunately, a conversion is possible.
Oops sorry just re-read original post. I have mentioned an interior feature I know, but I can't complain about my interior.

(1) Rear power windows - even the Telstar has them!! :dead:
(2) Trip Computer - handy, if a little gimmicky
(3) Climate control - seems to be a bit more accurate than straight a/c
(4) Leather trim!
(5) Sat-Nav - BING!!
(6) TV / DVD unit - I'm greedy
That'll do me.. :s6:

Clicky clicky here for previous ride! I still miss her!
Well i went from a Ghia to a Gli so I have got quite a long list of features I miss!
The simplest one would be the lack of a comfy drivers armrest. The GLi has is just plastic and has a little plastic dip with a raised edge in the centre which rubs on your elbow.
I have had a permanent graze on there now since the day I bought the car!
Hehehe i'll ditch the Bing! option of the moment especially at $2k or so.
