I'll have a go:

One night John was smashed after drinking too much bourbon and mountain dew, stuffed down with copious amounts of Doritos. SO, he decided to start a site for his mis-aimed admiration of certain GM vehicles. That did him no good because the GM guys didn't give a sh!t and so he tried Ford (what the hell hey John?). Soon after a few BON members got pissed too and found the site - after that it all turned to crap when every man and his dog signed up and...........

What would you like to know? That stats page is good in some respect, but is missing a lot of data. Some of it is actually wrong and needs to have some code changes. Joy more work. Thanks for bringing that to my attention.

As far as other facts.....

I can give you this months since i am in there right now. Remember that this is not finished. This is Oct 1 - Oct 29 as of time of posting.

We are crawled by spiders for search engines daily to the tune of 22 times a day.

Google is our number one referer in regards to search engines.

Peak usage hours are between 2am and 6am < Server Time so add 15 hours difference for Aussie time>

The database as of right now is 2.9gigs in size. I have pruned and fixed issues with it to reduce it from 4.3 gigs earlier this month.

The Gallery Database is 385.6 Megs in size.

Bandwidth used this month so far is 217gb 17gb above my projected purchase. No biggy there yet. We have spiked to 5.3 gb/sec on data transfers.

We are linked on 63 sites from info obtained in Google and Yahoo databases.

Time i spend on this site..... daily a minimum of 4 hours. Has been up to 2 days straight when new launches occur.

Search Engines & the Internet are great!

Calah, on the eastern bank of the Tigris and at its junction with the Upper Zab, a city built (c.1280 B.C.) by Shalmaneser I, who made it the capital of Assyria in place of Asshur. Its site is nowadays marked by the ruins of Nimroud.
