Well, first off a huge thank you to all the organizers, those that attended and the LS1 guys that made the day a huge hit. Even the weather (apart from the wind) was on our side.
There was some great cars and some great laughs. It was fantastic to meet up with all the regulars and a heap of new faces......all the way from SA and QLD!! Now thats FF dedication for you.
I'm pretty happy with my times actually. I didnt get the 14 second pass I wanted but I know the car has it for sure. Heathcote is a shitter of a track for my car and it seemed everyone was running slow there today (except for Cobra and his freaky car). It looked like most people couldnt get within 0.2 or 0.3 of there best time.
I ran a 15.09 best and consistant 15.10 -15.25 or so all night. Considereing at Calder I was running 15.2 - 15.3 all night with 1 screamer run at the end, I'm certain that I will crack a 14 on my next trip to Calder. My 60' times were an easy 10th faster than last time too so the car has picked up a fair bit of bottom end speed.
The car ran perfect, consistant and strong, cant complain about that.
Even got the pleasure of lining up twice against a VS SS Commy 5 speed.......and ass raping him...TWICE! He was a seriously pissed off boy after that.
It was a great day, I ran a 13.67 at 105mph with a single spinner diff!! and got the pleasure of seeing a pretty new SV8 disappear in my rear view. That was a good feeling, the last time I was at heathcote my car ran high 18's lol.
