Last night i was invited by execjim to the LS1.com dinner followed by a cruise afterwards. It was a pretty big turnout (35 people) of the holden fellas, a few rexy's and skylines and me and another fella flew the flag for the blue oval in an XR8 ute and an XR6T.

Gotta say it was very enjoyable and those guys have a good setup where they usually meet up once a week for a feed and a cruise. The feed was horn, the waitresses were even better, and the cruise was bedlam, but bloody fun. Imagine 20 hot cars and traffic lights every kilometre!:s6: ("fun" was had, but everyone is generally well behaved towards others etc)

Just an idea to throw up in the air for melbourne folk (which could apply all over australia for cruises) to either maybe join in on this type of cruise, or organise a more frequent meet up with dinner and a crusie afterwards. Weekly may be a bit too much for some, but perhaps smething more often!

Thoughts please!

Sounds good. Even if we could get a "the usual" place to eat out. I think it would be great...where did they go for the cruise?? where was the dinner?

The dinner was at Sofia's, a pasta and pizza place in wheelers hill, and the cruise went along springvale rd to the nepean hwy, across to chapel then along dandenong road

A few of us are doing our best up North here to keep the Fordforums gang out and about via 3FB cruises. Irrespective of what Ford one drives. The deal is where out have a nice cruise, a laugh and of course eating and drinking. :s6:

Good stuff Gaz, it's also good to put faces to names to those who we havent met yet, and to catch up with those who we have! Also to check out each others rides, have a couple of sherbets and talk general shyte!
