Final word on "Monaro" headlights

These clear style headlights were featured on both the 300+ concept car and the R5 concept car long before the VX monaro ever saw the light of day. Both these concepts were reported to have AV styling cues. Ergo the AV does not have monaro style headlights, the monaro has raptor/barra headlights. Nuff said.

I think the days of Holden and Ford copying each other (styling-wise) ended with the AU Falcon. Now both makers are looking to Europe for inspiration.

PS the term os 'Projector' lights. I could well be wrong, but the ED Falcon XR models look like they use a similar system.

Gas discharge headlights were investigated for Monaro, but didn't make it to production.

hahaha you've made my day mate. I don't know if the space shuttle has space shuttle lights? Haven't checked it out, it's too far in the sky.

Another one in the equation the Arrow Falcon has Mercedes lights, which by the way i'm not too keen on.
