Well my car is finally turbo'd! I'm sooooooo happy :D Sunny and I spent from 2pm today until about 10pm finishing off the piping, putting on the wastegate actuators, hooking up the fuel lines, extra injectors, mounting the cooler....the list goes on. I had a big night last night and wasn't really in the mood to start welding and stuff but we forced ourselves to do it and it was worth it

I just got back from cruising and there are a few small problems starting to show up. Firstly the rocker cover is leaking like crazy from the back and oil is spraying on the turbine housing so it's making it smoke.....just needs a new gasket.
The water lines are leaking from the welds a bit. Also I don't think it's making much boost at the moment, I'm not sure but it might have a leak in the cooler piping. I need to get a boost gauge to check, it should be making around 7-8psi. It needs a dyno tune. Its running very rich at the moment. It blows a lot of black smoke and stinks like fuel. I thought I'd have the opposite problem where it runs lean!
Apart from that it goes ok. Theres not much difference before 3000rpm but after that its like it hits a power band and it revs up pretty quick. It's nothing real fantastic at the moment but you definatly get the pushed back in your seat feeling
I didn't want to go real hard on it though I think the highest i revved it was about 4700. The best part is the 'psssshhhh' noise when you back off the throttle LOL! I love it! Just need to get a BOV now for the full VL styles effect.
